MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Brewers are getting ready for a fan-filled stadium again.
The team released a letter Tuesday morning discussing plans to fully reopen American Family Field on Friday, June 25.
The letter is addressed to Governor Tony Evers and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, and it says fully reopening is a home run for the local economy.
The letter is from Rick Schlesinger, Brewers president of business operations, and it praises their work in fighting the pandemic, writing "This landmark would not be possible without your leadership."
He also recognized the dedicated work of Wisconsin's health officials.
The Brewers say they expect the full reopening of American Family Field to bring more than 3,000 jobs to the community.
About 1,300 of those jobs are direct Brewers employees, which include seasonal workers and permanent staff.
Twelve-hundred of them are subcontracted to help sell food and drinks at the ballpark.
Others are employed by the Brewers Community Foundation and other outside partners.
The last time fans filled American Family Field it was still called Miller Park.
The Brewers game on Friday, June 25 against the Colorado Rockies will be the team's first full stadium home game in more than a year.
